The burger and bbq came from somewhere else The sandwich was great, nicely made and seasoned, the fries were so good, I'd go back just for that. Then I got black walnut ice cream, it was delicious, the walnuts were regular sized opposed to them being chopped. Customer service was a 10, I appreciate when the older generations continue to work in restaurants that have been around for forever.

They have good, solid sandwiches with affordable prices. Their sandwiches are very typical of Chicago-style hoagies. The cashier was extremely welcoming and nice.

I met the owner at closing time and he had the door open and he was cleaning up and he had just enough meat for one Sandwich At closing hours but He went to the refrigerator and grabbed more meat And took his time and cooked it with extra meat Got chips Chips with it And he only ask for 5 Because at the time the machine was down for "Tap Pay" or "Debit Card", And I only had a 5 bill in cash, he said," Just Give me the 5"!!! So I walked away with two sandwiches with two bags and chips for 5 dollars

This is my spot for hoagies and the traditional sweet steak sandwiches. Staff is always friendly. The food comes out quickly which is important to me when I’m working from home and want to treat myself for lunch. The bread is fresh, meats are as well. Add them to your regular rotation!

I've tried the catfish po'boy and the shrimp po'boy. Both are a solid 10. Catfish, tender and flavorful. Shrimp, cooked and seasoned perfectly. The fries are good (strong 8) with or without sweet sauce. If you're not a fan of home cut fries, only grab a hoagie or po'boy.
